Santiago de Compostela by car is just under 30 minutes from the Rias Baixas, Galicia. The city itself does not have the kind of beach that we are used to normally in Galicia: big, wild, beautiful but they are also advised to visit, due to its difference and unique beauty.

On the old road to Noia, without taking the freeway, about fifteen minutes away and going towards Roxos Bertamirans, you will come up to the Fluvia beach in Tapia.
The environment is typically Galician, where you will come in contact with many plants such as pine, oak, chestnut and eucalyptus, or the authentic farmhouses in the area. The Tambre River articulates and flows with great nature and beauty and offers this unique natural space to enjoy a nice day along its banks

There is a snack bar, a green area with grass, stone passages or outdoor grills which will allow you to organise barbecues.
In summer the paddling pool is open, as well as a small open-air library for all ages. There is a canoeingclub for those keen on this type of activity.
