On the banks of river Tambre it is Chaian, in the council of Trazo northwards from Santiago de Compostela.

Ten minutes away by car from Santiago de Compostela is Chaian. Both flora and fauna are typically galician, the indigenous landscape will astonish more than one and the quiteness of its people, its parties and traditions worths at least more than one visit.

Along the river Tambre there is a picnic area with tables, barbecues, a bar, toilets, and all of them under a gorgeus galician forest.
